Muslim Group Demands Comedy Central Depict Mohammed
By a4gPoint Five Staff Writer @ 1:45 pm

Opposing Moslem groups, each thirsty for bloody vengeance, await Comedy Central’s decision.
Dual fatwas were issued against Comedy Central late Thursday, from radical Dutch imam Sheikh Raed Hlayhel, and one from a new group calling itself “Righteous Fire of Islam Brigade.” The beleaguered cable network has been widely criticized for its decision to censor an image of Mohamed from the satirical cartoon series South Park.
The Dutch fatwa, widely expected, condemned South Park for its insulting treatment of deeply held Islamic beliefs against idolatry, and demanded that even the suggestion of images was ‘deeply insulting’. The other, made by charismatic and controversial Islam Brigade founder, Imam Abu al-Binwa, demanded that images of Mohammad be frequently and prominently featured. al-Binwa threatened to unleash a storm of violence if his demands are not met.
Unlike the Sufist or Wahhabi traditions, al-Binwa is a Shiite, who does not consider depictions of the Prophet or of the early Sahaba to be idolatrous. “But the Imam and his millions of followers become violently angry when they see the Prophet (PBUH) denigrated by not being included in a program with Jesus, Moses, or Buddha,” said a spokesman.
“To depict Jesus crapping on George Bush without giving Muhammed (PB&J) an equal or higher place during the excretion ceremony is an insult to all Muslims everywhere,” said al-Binwa through his interpreter. “We condemn this hateful insult to our religion. We condemn this slight against the Holy Prophet (PPoE). We demand Comedy Central devote a full episode of South Park to depictions of Mohamed (PG&E)– or feel the wrath of our Righteous Fire!”
The Comedy Central network originally made its decision to censor the episode of South Park based on fears of legal hassles from groups like CAIR, and the violent, and often fatal, riots sparked around the world by the publication of depictions of Mahomet by several European newspapers.
The new fatwa puts the network in the unenviable position of being threatened with violence no matter what course of action it
Viacom CEO Sumner Redstone was said to be apoplectic at the position that South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone had put his network in, and was quietly making phone calls to top Islamic leaders to discover what course of action would appease the many warring factions.
President Ahmedinejad of Iran offered the most simple course of action to placate all all sides involved: “Be angry at us– and die of this anger.”
While most were charmed by Ahmedinejad’s colorful analogy, media experts believe there is no known historical precedent where a Great Culture was undermined by violent and backwards barbarians.

Comedy Central Disses Muhammad

in light of recent world events, paradoxical, insulting and comedic images of mohammad should be shown on television, in newspapers and porno magazines 24 hrs a day,7 days a week, 365 days a year.
I discovered http://www.southparkstudios.com/ a couple monthes ago. I think it is the official site from Matt and Trey. You can watch every episode in full, with no bleeped words. The Mohamed scene is still cut though in this episode. Maybe Comedy Central has more control over South Park than anyone thought.
South Park should be allowed to depict whatever they like, the creators live in a country of free speach, don’t let your rights be let down like this!
